my friend carrie borzillo-vrenna (who is thisclose to signing her new book deal, btw) informed me on march 15th that i love geeks was #11 in relationship books on tower.com! that is sort of…well, awesome. i must confess that i don’t check things like that too often because i get a little weirded out. honestly, i can’t explain it, but it feels funny to have success measured in such a…visible way, for all to see. if i fail, you’ll know it. if i succeed – yeah, that too. if people are coming down on me for “why did you include that and why not this and that’s stupid” or “thanks so much for this book, i needed it!” then that’ll be pretty obvious as well. but as long as some people have really enjoyed the book and maybe gotten something out of it, or picked up a video game or a comic because of it, then i’m happy.
although, i sort of still want to jump on oprah’s couch like tom cruise…..so buy a couple more copies, will ya?
